Drug intelligence / Profile preview
S104 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD19 antigen, developed by Senlang Biotechnology for the treatment of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). The therapy consists of a patient's own T cells that have been genetically modified to express a CAR specific to CD19, a protein expressed on the surface of most B-cell malignancies. Once reinfused into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to CD19-positive leukemic cells, triggering T-cell activation and the subsequent lysis of the target cells. S104 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety and efficacy in patients with B-ALL.
