Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SAB-195** is a fully-human polyclonal antibody therapy developed by SAB Biotherapeutics using its proprietary DiversitAb platform in transchromosomic (Tc) bovine, which generates high-potency, high-avidity human immunoglobulin G (hIgG) antibodies without human donors. It targets multiple epitopes across the lifecycle of **Clostridioides difficile** (C. difficile), including spores, live cells, and toxins from multiple strains (including epidemic strains), to neutralize bacterial activity, treat acute symptoms, and prevent recurrent infection while preserving the healthy microbiome and avoiding antimicrobial resistance issues associated with antibiotics.[1][3][5]
