Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Florill is a probiotic brand developed and marketed by Alde Medi Impex, primarily formulated with the beneficial yeast *Saccharomyces boulardii* (available in sachet and capsule forms) or the spore-forming bacterium *Bacillus clausii* (available as an oral suspension). It is approved and used for the prevention and treatment of various gastrointestinal disorders, including acute infectious diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Florill works by restoring and maintaining the natural balance of the intestinal microflora, competitively inhibiting the growth of pathogenic microorganisms, neutralizing bacterial toxins, and modulating local immune responses to strengthen the intestinal mucosal barrier.
