These agents are being studied in advanced HER2-negative breast cancer to determine if molecular imaging, specifically ^68Ga-TROP2 PET/CT and ^18F-FDG PET/CT, can predict treatment response and clinical outcomes based on in vivo TROP2 expression and metabolic activity.
