Overview

**Safe Sea** is a proprietary topical sunscreen and jellyfish-sting protective lotion developed by Nidaria Technology. It combines UV-filtering sunscreen actives with a patented topical barrier formulation intended to reduce cnidarian nematocyst discharge and thereby help prevent jellyfish stings and seabather's eruption. In a randomized, double-blind field trial, Safe Sea reduced the observed incidence of jellyfish stings versus an SPF-matched sunscreen control.
