Overview

Saffron nasal spray is a botanical therapeutic derived from the active ingredients of the Tibetan medicinal plant *Crocus sativus* (saffron). It is currently being investigated by the People's Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region as an adjunctive treatment for nasal mucosal inflammatory diseases, including allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis. The formulation leverages the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of saffron's active components, such as crocin and safranal, to alleviate symptoms of nasal inflammation.
