Saginil Gel is a topically applied CE-marked medical device developed by Epitech Group for the symptomatic treatment of gynecological and vaginal inflammatory conditions. Its primary active ingredient is **adelmidrol**, a synthetic analogue of palmitoylethanolamide belonging to the ALIAmide (Autacoid Local Injury Antagonist Amide) class. The gel works by modulating the activity of local non-neuronal immune cells, particularly mast cells, to reduce inflammation, itching, burning, and pain. In addition to adelmidrol, the formulation contains sodium hyaluronate for hydration, phytosphingosine for barrier support, and quercetin for its antioxidant properties.
