This specific candidate is engineered to encode a potent monoclonal antibody targeting the malaria parasite (*Plasmodium falciparum*). Intended for systemic delivery via intravenous (IV) administration, the eRNA instructs the patient's own cells to produce and secrete the neutralizing antibody. This approach aims to provide durable passive immunization and long-term protection against malaria, potentially overcoming the half-life and manufacturing limitations associated with traditional protein-based monoclonal antibody injections.
