Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SAL006 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), developed by Shenzhen Salubris Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of various tumors. As an immune checkpoint inhibitor, SAL006 binds to PD-L1 on the surface of tumor cells or antigen-presenting cells, preventing its interaction with the PD-1 receptor on T cells. This blockade inhibits the immunosuppressive signaling that typically allows tumors to evade immune detection, thereby restoring and enhancing the anti-tumor activity of T lymphocytes. SAL006 has been investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China for patients with advanced solid tumors.
