Overview

**SAL0114** is an investigational oral sustained-release fixed-dose combination of deudextromethorphan, a deuterated form of dextromethorphan, and bupropion, developed by Salubris for major depressive disorder and agitation associated with Alzheimer's disease. Deuteration is intended to improve dextromethorphan metabolic stability and reduce formation of potentially adverse metabolites, while bupropion contributes antidepressant pharmacology and increases deudextromethorphan exposure through CYP2D6 inhibition. The product has been studied as a 30 mg/125 mg sustained-release tablet administered orally.
