SAL0119 is an oral small molecule immunosuppressant developed by Shenzhen Salubris Pharmaceuticals. It is being investigated for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, specifically ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis. The drug has a unique mechanism of action that differs from Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors and broad-spectrum cytokine inhibitors, although the precise molecular target has not been publicly disclosed. Preclinical studies have demonstrated good efficacy and safety profiles.
