Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SALBUWIN-B is a combination metered-dose inhaler (MDI) developed and manufactured by Medisol Lifescience. It contains salbutamol, a short-acting beta-2 agonist (SABA), and beclometasone dipropionate, an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). Salbutamol provides rapid bronchodilation by stimulating beta-2 adrenergic receptors in the airway smooth muscle, while beclometasone reduces airway inflammation by activating glucocorticoid receptors. This combination therapy is indicated for the management of obstructive airway diseases, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
