Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Salicinium** is a proprietary glycome-based molecule derived from natural plant sources, structurally related to benzaldehyde derivatives such as 4-β-D-glucopyranosyloxy benzaldehyde, developed as a non-toxic immunotherapeutic agent primarily for cancer and chronic infections. It selectively targets anaerobic cells, including cancer cells and pathogens, by inhibiting fermentation processes and enzymes involved in glycolysis, depriving them of energy while sparing healthy aerobic cells. Salicinium also modulates the immune system, reduces Nagalase levels to enhance immune recognition of abnormal cells, and is administered via intravenous infusion, often as an adjunct to conventional therapies in integrative medicine clinics.[1][3][5][9][13]
