Salipro CXCR2 program

Salipro Biotech's CXCR2 program is a preclinical-stage therapeutic development effort focused on the C-X-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 2 (CXCR2) for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. The program utilizes Salipro's proprietary DirectMX technology, which stabilizes complex membrane proteins like CXCR2 in lipid-protein nanoparticles that mimic the native cell membrane environment. This approach facilitates the discovery of high-affinity binders, such as monoclonal antibodies, small molecules, or nanobodies, against challenging GPCR targets that are often considered undruggable. CXCR2 is a key mediator of neutrophil migration and activation; its inhibition is a validated strategy for managing chronic inflammatory conditions. The program is currently being developed in collaboration with an undisclosed pharmaceutical partner.
