It is being developed as an intravenous injection for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease and angina pectoris. The compound is recognized for its potent antioxidant properties, ability to inhibit platelet aggregation, and protective effects on vascular endothelial cells. By reducing oxidative stress and improving microcirculation, it aims to mitigate myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and stabilize atherosclerotic plaques.
