San Yin Decoction

San Yin Decoction (also known as Sanyin Formula or SYF) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation specifically developed and clinically evaluated for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The formula is based on TCM principles of tonifying the kidney and clearing heat, and it typically comprises a combination of herbs including *Epimedium brevicornu*, *Psoralea corylifolia*, *Rehmannia glutinosa*, *Cortex Moutan*, *Scutellaria barbata*, and *Oldenlandia diffusa*. San Yin Decoction is primarily investigated for its ability to reduce recurrence and metastasis in TNBC patients following standard surgery and chemotherapy. Its mechanism of action involves the multi-target modulation of several oncogenic pathways, most notably the inhibition of the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway, the TLR4/NF-kappaB inflammatory axis, and the suppression of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Clinical studies, including Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials led by Longhua Hospital in China, have suggested that the addition of San Yin Decoction to standard care can improve disease-free survival (DFS) in the TNBC population.
