Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SANA-01 ADC is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Sanavia Oncology for the treatment of various solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate specifically targets Mucin-1 (MUC-1), a cell surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed and aberrantly glycosylated in several malignancies, including lung, breast, ovarian, and gastrointestinal cancers. By utilizing the ADC modality, SANA-01 is designed to selectively deliver a potent cytotoxic agent to MUC-1-positive cancer cells, thereby enhancing anti-tumor activity while reducing off-target effects associated with systemic chemotherapy.
