Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sanakin-Acrs (Sanakin Autologous Cytokine-Rich Serum) is an autologous biologic therapy derived from a patient's own blood. It is an advanced form of autologous conditioned serum (ACS) produced through a specialized processing method that enriches the serum with high concentrations of anti-inflammatory cytokines (particularly interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, IL-1Ra), interleukins, and growth factors. By modulating inflammatory pathways and promoting tissue regeneration, it is used to treat degenerative joint conditions. It is currently being evaluated by Batman University for the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) osteoarthritis via intra-articular injection.
