Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Compound Sanghuangyin is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily derived from the medicinal fungus *Phellinus linteus* (Sanghuang). It is developed by Zhejiang Cancer Hospital as a hepatoprotective agent for patients with primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). The drug is specifically investigated for its ability to mitigate acute liver injury following interventional procedures such as Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) or Hepatic Arterial Infusion Chemotherapy (HAIC). Administered orally, it is intended to complement standard hepatoprotective therapies by leveraging the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties associated with *Phellinus linteus* extracts.
