Sangxingzhike granules

Sangxingzhike granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of post-infection cough (PIC), particularly cases characterized by the TCM syndrome of wind-dryness attacking the lung. The formulation is derived from the classic Sangxing Tang and typically includes botanical ingredients such as Folium Mori (Mulberry Leaf) and Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Bitter Apricot Seed). It functions by clearing heat, moistening the lungs, and suppressing cough. Clinical studies conducted by the developer have evaluated its efficacy in reducing cough frequency and severity compared to standard treatments like montelukast or methoxyphenamine.
