Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sanhuang Wuji does not appear in authoritative English-language pharmacopoeias or major TCM databases as a standardized, single drug or formula. The name suggests it may be a combination or variant of two well-known traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulas—San Huang (Three Yellows) and Wu Ji San (Five-Accumulation Powder). "San Huang" refers to the combination of Coptis chinensis (Huang Lian), Scutellaria baicalensis (Huang Qin), and Phellodendron amurense (Huang Bai), which are used for clearing heat, dampness, alleviate toxins[9]. "Wu Ji San" is a classical 15-herb formula used to release the exterior, warm the interior, move Qi and blood, transform phlegm, and resolve accumulations; it is indicated for conditions like wind-cold invasion with internal cold-stagnation[1][2]. There is no evidence that "Sanhuang Wuji" is an officially recognized pharmaceutical product or standardized TCM formula. It may refer to a proprietary blend combining these two classic formulas or their principles.
