Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sanjiezhitong plaster (also known as Sanjie Zhitong Gao) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) external plaster formulated for the treatment of hyperplastic disease of the breast (breast hyperplasia), mastalgia (cyclical premenstrual breast pain), and male breast hyperplasia. The plaster is composed of several herbal ingredients, including Rhizoma Paridis (Chonglou), Herba Hedyotidis Diffusae (Baihuasheshecao), Spica Prunellae (Xiakucao), Radix Aconiti (Chuanwu), Rhizoma Arisaematis (Tiannanxing), and Borneol (Bingpian). It is designed to exert its therapeutic effects directly on the lesion site by permeating the skin, warming the meridians, activating blood circulation, resolving nodules (softening hardness and dissipating masses), and relieving pain. Sanjiezhitong plaster is manufactured by Guangzhou Baiyunshan Hejigong Pharmaceutical.
