Sanjin is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs), including acute simple lower urinary tract infections and chronic prostatitis. Developed and manufactured by Guilin Sanjin Pharmaceutical, the tablets are composed of five medicinal herbs: *Rosa laevigata*, *Smilax china*, *Centella asiatica*, *Lygodium japonicum*, and *Melastoma dodecandrum*. Its mechanism of action involves antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic properties, as well as the modulation of the immune response to reduce recurrence rates of infections. It is widely used in China as an alternative or adjunct to antibiotic therapy for urogenital conditions.
