Overview

Sanoplast DHAAM (Dehydrated Human Amniotic Membrane) is a sterile, acellular extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffold developed by BioXtek. Derived from donated human placental tissue (amniotic and/or chorion membranes), the product is processed through decellularization and dehydration before terminal sterilization via irradiation. It is registered as a Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Product (HCT/P) under FDA 21 CFR Part 1271 Section 361 for homologous use as a barrier or cover. Sanoplast DHAAM is indicated for a variety of clinical uses, including the treatment of dry eye syndrome, topical wounds, stage 1 and 2 diabetic ulcers, tendon and nerve repairs, dura replacement in neurosurgery, and pericardial coverage. The matrix supports tissue regeneration by providing a stable environment for cell migration and proliferation.
