Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Sante Beauteye Contact** is an over-the-counter ophthalmic combination eye drop product developed and manufactured by Santen Pharmaceutical for use while wearing contact lenses. It is a multi-ingredient small-molecule formulation containing pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, and neostigmine methyl sulfate, intended to relieve eye fatigue, discomfort, bleary vision, and related symptoms associated with soft or hard contact lens wear, and to help prevent minor eye disease. Its pharmacologic rationale is supportive and symptomatic: vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 are included to support ocular tissue metabolism and turnover, while neostigmine methyl sulfate, an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, is intended to improve ciliary muscle function and reduce accommodative eye fatigue. The product is supplied as ophthalmic eye drops in a 12 mL bottle and is used with most contact lens types except color contact lenses.
