Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sante PC is a **multi-ingredient ophthalmic small-molecule OTC eye drop** developed and manufactured by Santen Pharmaceutical for relief of eye fatigue and ocular surface/conjunctival symptoms associated with prolonged computer and smartphone use, including exposure to blue light. The formulation combines cyanocobalamin, sodium chondroitin sulfate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, neostigmine methyl sulfate, taurine, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, chlorpheniramine maleate, and tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride to provide a multipronged pharmacologic effect: support of accommodative function, corneal surface protection, tissue metabolic support, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activity, and vasoconstriction to reduce conjunctival hyperemia. It is marketed in Japan as a Class 2 OTC ophthalmic medicine for eye fatigue, conjunctival hyperemia, eye inflammation caused by light exposure, itchy eyes, and prevention of eye disease.
