Sanyrene

Sanyrene (also marketed as Corpitol) is a topical lipid-based formulation developed by Laboratoires Urgo for the prevention and treatment of skin integrity issues. Its primary component is Corpitolinol 60, a complex of hyperoxygenated fatty acids (predominantly linoleic acid) enriched with Vitamin E. The mechanism of action involves the attenuation of cutaneous inflammation by competing with arachidonic acid and inhibiting the production of proinflammatory eicosanoids. Additionally, it reinforces the skin's hydrolipidic film and improves local tissue oxygenation. It is clinically indicated for the prevention of pressure ulcers (pressure injuries), the treatment of erythema, and the prophylaxis of radiation-induced dermatitis in oncology patients.
