Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SAPU 006 (also known as Sapu-006 or docetaxel deciparticle) is an ultra-small, intravenous nanoparticle formulation of docetaxel, a semi-synthetic taxane analogue. Developed using Sapu Nano's proprietary Deciparticle™ nanomedicine platform, SAPU 006 encapsulates docetaxel into amphiphilic constructs measuring below 20 nanometers. This ultra-small size is designed to optimize tissue distribution, enhance tumor penetration, and improve the therapeutic index of docetaxel by overcoming delivery barriers associated with poorly water-soluble oncology agents. SAPU 006 is being developed for the treatment of solid tumors, with primary indications including prostate cancer and gastric cancer.
