Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SAR245409 + erlotinib is a combination therapy consisting of SAR245409 (voxtalisib/XL765), a pan-class I phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor, and erlotinib, an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor. This combination targets both the PI3K/mTOR and EGFR signaling pathways, which are commonly dysregulated in cancer cells. The combination has been studied in phase I clinical trials for patients with advanced solid tumors, particularly those with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who had previously received EGFR inhibitor therapy.
