Overview

SAR444200 is a novel bispecific NANOBODY T cell engager developed by Sanofi. It simultaneously binds to the T-cell receptor alpha/beta (TCRαβ) on cytotoxic T cells and glypican-3 (GPC3) on tumor cells, thereby co-engaging T cells with GPC3-expressing tumor cells. This dual binding results in targeted T cell-dependent cellular cytotoxicity against GPC3-positive solid tumors. The drug is being evaluated as an intravenous therapy in adult patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors expressing GPC3, including hepatocellular carcinoma and other malignancies. Clinical trials have shown that it is generally tolerable at tested doses and has demonstrated early signs of antitumor activity[1][2][4][5][6].
