Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SAR444881 + pembrolizumab is an investigational drug combination intended for use in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. SAR444881 is a monoclonal antibody targeting the immune inhibitory receptor LILRB1 (also called ILT2), and is designed to block immunosuppressive signals on immune cells, thereby enhancing the immune-mediated anti-tumor response. Pembrolizumab is a well-established immune checkpoint inhibitor, specifically a monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) on T lymphocytes, preventing the interaction with its ligand PD-L1 and restoring T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. This combination is currently in clinical trials for efficacy and safety in solid tumors, including but not limited to non-small cell lung cancer, gastric/gastroesophageal cancer, and colorectal cancer. The primary sponsor and developer for the combination trial is Sanofi.
