Overview

Sarritamab (TX301, BIVV020) is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to selectively inhibit the C1s enzyme, a serine protease in the classical complement pathway. By targeting C1s, sarritamab prevents the activation of the classical complement cascade, which is implicated in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune neurological disorders. The drug is currently being developed for the treatment of Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG), and Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN). Tenacia Life Sciences holds the development and commercialization rights for the drug in Greater China under a licensing agreement with Sanofi, which leads global development.
