Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SARS-CoV-2 recombinant vaccine is a protein subunit vaccine candidate being developed by Techinvention Lifecare for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine is engineered using recombinant DNA technology to produce viral antigens, specifically targeting the SARS-CoV-2 virus to stimulate an adaptive immune response. By presenting these antigens to the immune system, the vaccine aims to induce the production of neutralizing antibodies and activate T-cell mediated immunity. Currently in the preclinical or proof-of-concept stage, this vaccine represents part of Techinvention Lifecare's efforts to expand access to COVID-19 immunization through scalable protein-based platforms.
