Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This combination comprises three investigational or approved anticancer agents, studied for advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): - **Sasanlimab** is a subcutaneously administered, investigational anti-PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) monoclonal antibody designed to enhance immune-mediated tumor cell killing by blocking the PD-1 pathway and promoting T-cell activation[1][4][6]. - **Axitinib** is an orally administered, approved small molecule inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs), primarily VEGFR-1, -2, and -3, inhibiting angiogenesis within tumors[4]. - **SEA-TGT** is a nonfucosylated, investigational anti-TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) monoclonal antibody with enhanced immune-effector function intended to reduce Treg and exhausted T cell–based immunosuppression, further augmenting antitumor T cell activity[3][4]. This triplet is evaluated in a multi-center, open-label, Phase 1b/2 umbrella trial (not approved for any indication) in patients with NSCLC. The goal is to enhance and sustain anti-tumor immunity by targeting multiple immune-inhibitory pathways and the tumor vasculature[1][3][4][5][6].
