Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Satietyde is an oral GLP-1 receptor agonist being developed by Diabetology for the treatment of obesity. It utilizes the company's proprietary Axcess™ delivery technology to enable the oral administration of a low-dose (microdose) GLP-1-based peptide. Unlike high-dose oral GLP-1 analogs that aim for systemic absorption to mimic injectable levels, Satietyde is designed to activate GLP-1 signaling primarily to promote satiety and aid in weight management. The program is currently in Phase 2 development.
