SB-0110 is a **novel, proprietary small molecule** discovered and developed by Sinopia Biosciences for the treatment of **Parkinson’s disease (PD)** and **levodopa-induced dyskinesia (LID)**. It was identified using machine learning and multi-omics network analysis through the LEADS™ computational drug discovery platform. SB-0110 shows a unique mechanism of action, believed to target the PKA-RII (Protein kinase A regulatory subunit II) pathway downstream of dopamine receptors. In preclinical rodent and non-human primate models, SB-0110 demonstrated robust reduction of both PD symptoms and dyskinesia when administered with levodopa, and potential cognitive enhancement. It is currently in Phase 1a clinical testing to assess safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers, with plans for subsequent studies in PD patients[1][2][3][5][10].
