Overview

**SB-1121** is an investigational, chemically heterogeneous herbal composition studied for cirrhosis of the liver and early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma. The formulation contains extracts of *Adenosma glutinosum*, *Eclipta prostrata*, *Phyllanthus urinaria*, and *Impatiens balsamina*, together with ascorbic acid, pyridoxine 5-phosphate, L-arginine hydrochloride, and pregnenolone acetate. Its proposed effects include liver-parenchymal regeneration, antifibrotic activity, anti-inflammatory effects, and inhibition of early liver-cancer progression; however, no specific validated molecular target or direct mechanism has been publicly reported. The registered study NCT05178303 was sponsored by Nguyen Thi Trieu and is listed as completed. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT05178303))
