Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SB-1121 is a multi-component therapeutic composition developed by Dr. Nguyen Thi Trieu for the treatment of early-stage cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The formulation is a combination of herbal extracts—including *Adenosma glutinosum*, *Eclipta prostrata*, *Phyllanthus urinaria*, and *Impatiens balsamina*—along with nutritional and hormonal precursors such as ascorbic acid, pyridoxine 5-phosphate, L-arginine hydrochloride, and pregnenolone acetate. SB-1121 is designed to repair and regenerate liver parenchyma, inhibit the generation of fibrotic cells, and suppress the growth of early-stage liver cancer cells. Additionally, it aims to restore physiological and biochemical liver functions and strengthen the body's immune response following chronic inflammation.
