Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SB cells-based cancer vaccine is a preclinical-stage cell therapy being developed by StemBios Technologies. The vaccine utilizes the company's proprietary 'SB Cells'—a population of small, pluripotent-like stem cells isolated from adult peripheral blood—which are differentiated into dendritic cells (DCs). These DCs are then loaded with tumor-associated antigens to serve as a personalized or off-the-shelf immunotherapy. The primary mechanism of action involves the presentation of these antigens to the patient's T cells, thereby stimulating a robust and specific cytotoxic immune response against malignant cells. This approach aims to overcome the limitations of traditional dendritic cell vaccines by providing a more potent and scalable source of antigen-presenting cells.
