Overview

SB-UF is a novel combination drug comprising Pregnenolone, Pyridoxal Phosphate, and Dydrogesterone, developed for the treatment of uterine fibroids, particularly those affecting pregnancy. Uterine fibroids are often linked to an imbalance between progesterone and estrogen. SB-UF aims to address this by regulating stable estrogen levels and promoting the dissolution of fibroids. Pregnenolone, a steroid hormone precursor, is included to ensure sufficient levels for the synthesis of progesterone and estrogen, thereby helping to rebalance these hormones. Dydrogesterone, a synthetic progestogen, selectively binds to progesterone receptors to mimic natural progesterone's effects, further contributing to hormonal equilibrium. Pyridoxal Phosphate, a coenzyme, acts as a necessary element to support the overall metabolic processes involved in curbing fibroid growth and facilitating their softening and disappearance. Clinical trials have shown that SB-UF can lead to the disappearance of fibroids in women with uterine fibroids affecting pregnancy.
