Overview

sB24M is a monoclonal antibody developed as a protein-based therapy using biotechnology methods. It acts as an inhibitor and modulator of the CD47 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF, specifically TNF-α) pathways. The drug is designed to negatively regulate immune-inflammatory processes through the CD47/TNF-α axis, thereby promoting epithelialization and healing of damaged tissue. Its primary clinical development has focused on topical or local injection for severe forms of pyoderma gangrenosum, a rare skin disease characterized by chronic ulcerative lesions. The drug was initially developed by SWISS BIOPHARMA MED GmbH[1][2][4].
