Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SBK002 is a small molecule P2Y12 receptor antagonist developed by Chengdu Shibeikang Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. for the prevention of atherothrombotic events. The drug works by selectively and reversibly binding to the P2Y12 receptor on the surface of platelets, thereby inhibiting adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced platelet activation and aggregation. This mechanism is intended to reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications such as myocardial infarction and stroke. SBK002 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers.
