SBK009

SBK009 is an investigational small molecule, reversible P2Y12 receptor antagonist developed by Chengdu Shibeikang Biomedical Technology. It is formulated as an intravenous injection intended for the treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and for use in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). By targeting the P2Y12 receptor on the surface of platelets, SBK009 inhibits adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the risk of thrombotic complications. The intravenous route of administration allows for a rapid onset and offset of antiplatelet activity, which is particularly advantageous in acute cardiovascular settings where immediate platelet inhibition is required and where oral administration may be challenging or rapid reversal of effect is necessary.
