Overview

SBP-303 is an mRNA-based bispecific antibody (bsAb) candidate developed by SML Biopharm for the treatment of solid cancers. It is part of the company's 'In-vivo Protein Expression Therapeutics' pipeline, which utilizes a proprietary mRNA/LNP (lipid nanoparticle) platform. The therapeutic approach involves delivering mRNA encapsulated in LNPs to direct host cells to express and secrete a bispecific antibody in vivo, potentially offering advantages in manufacturing and pharmacokinetics over traditional recombinant protein therapies. As of the latest reports, SBP-303 is in the candidate optimization stage of development.
