Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SBT-1901 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Staidson Biopharma Inc. (Staidson Pharma) that targets tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2). It binds to the extracellular domain of human and cynomolgus TNFR2 with single-digit nanomolar affinity and competes with TNFα for binding to the receptor. TNFR2 is highly expressed on regulatory T cells (Tregs) within the tumor microenvironment, where it plays a critical role in their proliferation and immunosuppressive activity. By targeting TNFR2, SBT-1901 is designed to modulate tumor-associated immune signaling and reduce the suppressive effect of Tregs, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors.
