Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SC-102 is a peptide drug conjugate (PDC) under development for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors that express EphA2. The drug consists of an EphA2-targeting peptide, a tubulin inhibitor payload, and a protease-hydrolyzable linker. Its mechanism of action involves targeting the Ephrin type-A receptor 2 (EphA2) on tumor cells to deliver the cytotoxic tubulin inhibitor directly to cancer cells, thereby disrupting microtubule function and inducing cell death. SC-102 is being developed by Tianjin ConjuStar Biologics (also referred to as Tianjin Conjustar Biotechnology), with clinical trials planned in China. As of December 2024, it has received IND approval from Chinese regulatory authorities and is entering phase I clinical trials for patients with advanced malignant solid tumors[1][2][4][5][8].
