Overview

SC01009 is an allogeneic cell therapy product composed of menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells (Men-MSCs). Developed by Zhejiang Shengchuang Precision Medical Technology, SC01009 leverages the multipotent properties of MSCs, which are characterized by their ability to self-renew, differentiate into multiple lineages, and exhibit low immunogenicity. The therapeutic mechanism involves the cells homing to damaged tissue areas, where they exert paracrine effects to promote epithelial tissue repair, suppress inflammation, and inhibit the abnormal proliferation of fibroblasts. The drug is currently being investigated for the treatment of severe respiratory conditions, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and severe viral pneumonia caused by pathogens such as influenza or respiratory syncytial virus.
