Overview

SC134 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Scancell using its GlyMab platform, specifically targeting the glycolipid fucosyl-GM1 (FucGM1). FucGM1 is highly expressed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) but is virtually absent in normal tissues, making it an ideal target for directed therapy. While originally a murine IgG1, SC134 has been humanized and developed as a T-cell engaging bispecific antibody (SC134-TCB) to redirect T-cell cytotoxicity against SCLC cells. Preclinical studies have also demonstrated its efficacy as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). As of early 2026, the program is transitioning into Phase 1/2 clinical trials following regulatory advice from the FDA and MHRA.
