Overview

SC2811 is a high-affinity monoclonal antibody targeting the tumor-associated glycan stage-specific embryonic antigen 4 (SSEA4). Developed using Scancell Holdings' proprietary GlyMab platform, SC2811 binds to SSEA4, a glycolipid that is significantly over-expressed in a wide range of solid tumors but has limited expression on normal tissues. Beyond its direct targeting of cancer cells, SC2811 has demonstrated the ability to stimulate T-cell proliferation and enhance survival in preclinical tumor models. In December 2024, Genmab secured an exclusive worldwide license to develop and commercialize SC2811, with plans to explore its potential as a monotherapy or as a platform for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), radioligands, and T-cell redirection therapies.
