Overview

**SCANTILY Pad** is a leave-on topical over-the-counter acne treatment supplied as pre-soaked pads by Dermala. Its drug active ingredient is salicylic acid, a keratolytic beta-hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin and helps clear follicular blockage. The formulation also contains Dermala's proprietary SE Microbiome Complex of skin-microbiome prebiotics and postbiotics, which is intended to suppress acne-associated *Cutibacterium acnes* while supporting beneficial skin bacteria, and aloe vera to soothe and hydrate the skin. It is marketed for treatment of acne vulgaris and is used once or twice daily.
